Tips for dealing with exercise induced asthma?
Recently I've found cardio related exercises to be incredibly difficult because I struggle to breath, even though I'm not at all physically tired or stained yet. I live with two heavy smokers and so I think I've developed asthma as a result of exposure to second hand smoke. I plan on seeing a doctor/asthma specialist as soon as possible, but in the meantime does anyone have advice on how to manage my symptoms until then?
For clarification, I am in pretty good physical health and do not think my trouble breathing is from being out of shape

I do not agree with the other person. I have exercise induced asthma as well, and so I do not think pushing through it is the right way to go. At least for me, it makes it physically hurt my chest and feel like a stabbing pain. And I legitimately can’t breathe. I’ve been advised to try exercises that aren’t as vigorous, like walking, yoga, and machine stuff. I love the elliptical and stepper for that reason. It doesn’t mess with my asthma at all.

I had the same symptoms when i began exercising soon after i quit drugs. All i can say is you just have to push through the pain and discomfort instead of avoiding it. From my experience anyways.
