Radioactive Fertilizer. I have been told that the fertilizer used by the Tobacco Industry is radioactive. Is this true and if so, why?

    True (sort of). Anything that has potassium in it is going to have some radioactive potassium. We have no way of separating that out. Every food is going to have some.

    Mildly yes, because thats what works.

    Not all radiation is harmful. Hell, bananas are technically radioactive. So are human bodies.

    I've not heard that, but honestly, if you're going to use tobacco products, you've already decided to commit slow suicide anyway.
