5.6 Billion for the border wall?

Trump has considered several proposals. Not all cost the same. That $5.6 billion is likely an amount needed to get off to a good start and more will be required later.

Personally I prefer to move forward quickly but no plan should set in stone. We will learn what works from experience and we need to adjust accordingly.

Consider the Fact that in any "combat" situation, whatever you're planning, the "enemy" is also planning a way to deal with whatever you do. No plan wil will work absolutely so learning as you go just makes good sense.

Build walls where logical, which makes sense for Most of that border. Wait and see how the criminal element responds. The wall will help control the non-criminals and make the remaining job much easier. Seeing how the criminals react will determine what future steps will be required.

Without a wall Tens of Thousands to Millions can cross the border effortlessly. With a wall, Nefarious Smugglers/Traffickers & people trying to cheat the system will have to be funneled to a gate have their Identity Verified, Health & Criminal background checks to get a temporary or working Visa (they may overstay, if granted visas, but their Identities, documented locations & possibly DNA are in the System). It takes time to climb a wall or dig tunnels, & It requires oxygen pumped into the tunnel limited to only one person crossing at a time. Drones only takes pictures & Border Patrols seems to be more like chauffeurs.

Walls/Fencing & armed personnel around the White House keeps Hundreds to thousands from forcibly entering same goes for Gated Communities. Everyone goes to a gate/door, check in, with verification.

Being for Sanctuary cities, Against Kate's law & A border wall is against border security as the policies that (D) supports compromises border/national security despite their claims of being for Border Security.

Sanctuary Cities, Birth-Right, Welfare Benefits, incentivizes illegal immigrations into the US. Refugees get Monthly allowances, housing, & college curtesy of Tax Payers, the homeless & legal immigrants does not.

An effective border security would be to adopt Jordan's Refugee policy, & policy combating illegal Immigration: No employment opportunities, no government assistance, no public school & no Birth-Right, only Tent Cities. Most Middle-Eastern & some Asian Countries executes smugglers, traffickers, & criminal aliens for committing capital crimes (rape, murder, burglary, home invasions, drug/human trafficking...).

In most middle-eastern countries the woman or minor (usually non-citizen) that was raped & abused is usually the ones who gets executed or have their hands chopped off. Burglars are displayed in pubic viewing after execution lifted into the air by cranes.

But we have 40M+ Illegal Aliens costing US over $30,000 each per year........

Go ahead and add up the costs of not securing our borders.
