Something ring the water out of clothes with?
I was really poor one day, and did my laundry by hand. I realized I really preferred that method anyway and have been doing it ever since. The only problem I have is I can never seem to ring out enough water when done, and water gets on the floor. I need something I can squeeze the water out with before hanging them up. Any ideas?

Google up manual washing machines and there are several inventions that might do what you want. That and a clothes line.

Wring. Ring is what a bell does. There are hand wringers, gadgets that used to be attached to the top of wringer washers back in the day. You can buy the wringer part separately, but you'll have to attach it to something solid. Try lehmans.com where they also have washboards, and bucket-style spinner to dry clothes.
If you put clothes through a roller-type wringer, be careful. I once put a pair of corduroy pants through one. The wrinkles never came out, even after repeated washing and ironing.
If you have a washing machine at all, by the way, and unless you are washing things so delicate that they can't go through a washing machine, a washing machine does a better job of washing in less time and with less water than you can do by hand. I speak from experience.

The old-school way like they still do in India and Southeast Asia. You hit the clothes with a small wood paddle.

You can get a wringer. That's what was used before washing machines came along. They have used ones available on ebay, and new ones are sold at Amazon as well as places that specialize in camping and off-grid equipment.
