Pitfall! video game in Ready Player One movie?
In the 2018 movie Ready Player One (based on the 2011 book Ready Player One) they said that Pitfall! is one of the only 2600 games that still hasn't ended. What is that supposed to mean? Are they suggesting that no one has beaten that game? Because a lot of people didn't realize that it can be beaten. But it can. Here's a 2011 guide on how to do it:

The game itself has no end. The world loops and you can end up back to where you started.
It only ends because there is a 20 min timer. Without that timer, one could loop the world forever without end.
Pitfall II is by far the better game and does have an ending. :)

rpo was total shyte.......Pitfall was a classic game, ..and i didn't and don't still like platformers either...but in anycase it's a movie and not 1 to be taken seriously or literally if you ask me..
