Would you date a schizophrenic?

Yes. I had friends in high school who were schizophrenic. They didn't act like most schizophrenics are portrayed in the media. You wouldn't know they were schizophrenics if they didn't choose to share their diagnoses with you. They were great people and if they were still among the living I'm fairly certain they would still be amongst my friends.

Dating happens when we feel attracted toward someone and mutually decide to get together for a first date. I don't think most people announce I'M SCHIZOPHRENIC on a first date, so unless they have tremendous symptoms and aren't taking medication, who'd know?
