What bird does this feather belong to?

I found this feather on the ground. I thought it was from a red-tailed hawk, but I looked up pictures, and it does not appear to be. It's rather large. Is it from a hawk, or a falcon, or an eagle, or some other bird of prey? And if so, what kind of hawk, falcon, eagle, or other bird is it? Picture included.

Looks a lot like a red shoulder hawk feather but I'm not sure. I think you are probably on the right track with it being a hawk feather. Some Cooper's Hawk feathers look similar. Here is a picture of a red-shouldered hawk I saw in park recently.

    This site helps identify feathers.

Looks a lot like the long eared owl feather in the link and red shouldered isn't too far off.

I'd go with chicken, turkey or goose, but can't say for sure.

Are you sure it isn't from a barred rock chicken?
