There are so many good anime, but if i had to choose it'd be Strawberry Panic!. It's 26 episodes which allows you to connect with the characters compared to the standard 12 episodes. I also prefer the romantic drama over action because action anime seems too recycled to me.
I also really liked Citrus, Violet Evergarden, Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai, and Bloom Into You.
