Can we all agree that nothing can bring a nation down from prosperity to desperation faster than Socialism?

Socialism fails every time it is tried. Failure goes all the way back to the Pilgrims at Plymouth Rock in 1620. With constant oil revenues, Venezuelans should be well off. Dictators are known to rob their countries and amass fortunes.

OK. But no one has suggested that the government take over business or production of goods. And ALL the western European countries have single payer healthcare. Most also subsidize higher education which is all the "socialists" in the US have proposed.

Seems you are forgetting the stock market crash of 1929 and Great Depression that followed. . Much quicker than what happened in Venezuela.

No, we can't all agree. Trust me, someone will disagree that socialism is the pathway to success. Amazingly, it will be a celebrity making 15-20 mil. a year that champions the cause.

fox is leaving out the part where Venezuela WAS socialist with Chavez ( and doing great ) , but then he died and the CIA put in a CAPITALIST puppet president that let the corporations and the rich take and take until there was nothing left for the people .
