I agree he is still at a high level and at his age retirement from the game has to be looked at!Looking at how injuries affected some players in their later years. As well as being a family man has to be a part of the thought process as to if he plays again!I have a feeling a year or 2 are in the works yet!!

The NFL doesn't want him to retire yet. He's their best selling ticket and will protect him at all costs.

If he keeps playing at his current level, he'll play as long as the team lets him. If the Patriots win the Super Bowl, it would be a good time to retire. Win your last game, and retire while you can still play, and are relatively healthy. It's not like he has anything left to prove.

One more season at this level, his short range accuracy is still among the best in the league but the deep ball is almost gone. He keeps saying that he will retire “when he sucks”, so next season could be his last.

if he doesn't suffer serious injury, he could play until 45 like he hopes too. if he continues to perform like he does now, i don't see him retiring anytime soon.
