Why do people talk so quietly?
Why does everyone talk so quietly? I ask people to talk a bit louder or repeat things very very often and they seem to think I’m weird for it, doesn’t everybody have a problem with other people talking so quiet all the time?

People do talk quietly and many mumble as well but it could be that you are going deaf. Have your ears tested. It might just be that they need to be syringed, your doctor will have a look. If you are going deaf you will discover that people who look at you while they are talking to you are always understandable but those who look away, mumble or cover their mouths are impossible to understand

Most of the people in my life talk too loudly. But then again, I have normal hearing. Get your hearing tested. Chances are you don't hear as well as you should.

They just aren’t confident. It’s not something you can turn off and on like a light switch. To try and make them do something they aren’t able we’ll to me you sound like the bad guy. Most people I think would rather avoid confrontation then make a big fuss about something that doesn’t really deserve to make a big fuss about. When all you gotta do is listen closer. It seems like you are just doing it because you can kind of thing. Which you probably are. You would rather have confrontation.
