    Venezuela is suffering due to poor leadership, thus not a good example of Socialism. Its like asking if Democracy is so great, why does more than half of the US population want Trump impeached.

    They are wanting out of a dictatorship, not socialism.

    Socialism is not the issue; democratic-socialism, like most socialist nations, is a perfectly good economic model. Canada and others do just fine under democratic socialism. But when the government owned and operated (GOGO) plants are run by a dictator, that's called fascism, like Hitler and Mussolini did in WWII.

    And that's why they are migrating to Columbia.
