Why do YOU consider it OK to execute children at birth?

"at birth"? You mean, get pregnant, carry the foetus for nine months, go through hours of labour, deliver a healthy child and *then* kill it?

In either of those cases: it's none of my business, none of your business, none of anyone else's business.

If a woman owns her own body, what she does with it is her right and her choice.

If she isn't allowed to do what she likes with it, then she doesn't own her own body - she's a slave, owned by someone else, who will decided what will and will not be done with it.

I do not believe in abortion, unless the life of the mother is in extreme danger. I have two adopted grandchildren whom I love very dearly. If their mothers had made the decision to abort them, I would have never gotten to know what wonderful young people they've grown up to be.

I don't, but there is a philosophy that does. But first be clearer about your terms interpretation - execution or murder at birth is not abortion. Peter Singer and his followers believe as utilitarians that a baby is not human until 28 days old. It is unable to provide any self-care unlike animals. If a baby is unwanted due to disability or sex or whatever makes the parents unhappy they have the right (in his view) to euthanize the baby. Abhorent philosophy, but far too many agree with him.

Wait, why do they execute it? I am confused. In terms of execution, it is done with a legal manner, usually as a consequence for a serious crime. Define why do they have to execute it.

Because sometimes a doctor has to save the mother's life instead of letting both the newborn and the mother die; it's a medical condition that many ignorant people don't understand. If you don't want to believe in science, then go have your children delivered at home and if something bad happens, don't call the doctor, just let them all die, you sexist.
