I suffer from gout and I am wondering how long does the urate crystals stay in my big toe joint.?

Last 31 January 2019, I experienced my first gout attack. I am just 30 years old. It was very painful. I modified my diet and take colchicine daily. The pain, swelling, and rawness subsided after a few days and now it does not hurt anymore except if I bend the affected joint. I still cannot walk normally and even though it is not painfull, the affected joint is still swollen a bit and it has coloration. I felt pain when I accidentally bent the joint which would otherwise not be painful under normal circumstances.

The doctor said the affected joint has recovered very well, but I am not sure. Any gout sufferer here who could tell me how long does the urate crystals stay in the affected joints?
