why are Congress democrats and some Rino republicans violating article 4 section 4 of the constitution which requires FULL border security?
which requires Border Barriers as you cannot have full security if there is even an inch of space where illegals can cross undetected or at all other than the Legal ports of entry and by legal means

"Invasion" as used therein may only mean invasion by foreign militaries. The issue has never been litigated before the Supreme Court to clarify the definition

Section 4.
The United States shall guarantee to every state in this union a republican form of government, and shall protect each of them against invasion; and on application of the legislature, or of the executive (when the legislature cannot be convened) against domestic violence.
So far no foreign military has invaded the United States. A barrier is not mentioned at all in this section.

They aren't. They have been discussing funding for full border security for the last couple months.

Is that how Russian agents are getting in, just walking around the fence? There were two Russian agents in the Oval Office the day after Trump fired a loyal American, James Comey.

The section also gives Congress the power (and obligation) to protect the states from an invasion by a foreign country, or from significant violent uprisings within each state. It authorizes the legislature of each state (or the executive, if the legislature cannot be assembled in time) to request federal help with riots or other violence.
We are not being invaded, and the border states have not requested federal help with riots. Interesting that everyone that says we are being invaded does not live near the border, but people who do live on the border know that we are not being invaded. Always believe the people that are really there over others who are not there.
This reminds me of the argument before the Iraq War as to whether they had WMD, or not. All of the inspectors who actually went into Iraq and looked said there were no WMD, but out of all the politicians who were pushing for war and said there were WMD, none had ever even been to Iraq. Always believe the people who actually look over the speculators with an agenda.

Article 4 states each state will receive protection from invasion. It says nothing about a border. You are really, really, reaching here.
