Getting tattoo with congenital heart defects?
Just a quick question if anyone's had any experience similar.. I was born with heart defects that were corrected at birth but am currently on medication for an irregular heart beat resulting from the scar tissue, one of my cardiologists told me I'm never allowed to get piercings or tattoos (I had several piercings done when I was younger and was just fine) and another cardiologist said it's definitely fine just make sure I'm somewhere that's sterile and clean and aware of my heart.. if I go to a reputable safe establishment there's no reason why I can't get a tattoo right?

Often doctors have differing opinions. You've been given approval by one doctor. If you trust him do what you want.
Another option would be to get an opinion from a third doctor and follow the majority rule.

I would certainly not risk it. Pure vanity.
