Wasn't everything in the Articles Of Confederation nullified when we adopted the Constitution? (U.S.)?

Except the specific clauses that were carried over?

Update:

Why do individual states think they retained sovereignty after the ratification of the 1st amended Constitution?

Yes. The articles of confederation do not control any part of our government. It is a non-functional document.

No, those were many years apart.

    Pretty much, yes.

This became the Constitutional Convention. It was quickly agreed that changes would not work, and instead the entire Articles needed to be replaced.[3] On March 4, 1789, the government under the Articles was replaced with the federal government under the Constitution.[4] The new Constitution provided for a much stronger federal government by establishing a chief executive (the President), courts, and taxing powers.
