Question about Speeding tickets on my record?

I had gotten a speeding ticket a few months ago. I paid the fine for it. Is it possible to get this speeding ticket expunged off my record? Do speeding tickets come off your driving record automatically after a certain amount of time? I live in Virginia btw. Thank you!

NO, on both counts. The ticket won't be REPORTED on a standard check of your driving record and the points won't count against you for the purpose of suspending your license after X years, but traffic violations CANNOT be expunged and never actually come off your record.

Insurance companies are still going to count it.
