I know you're not supposed to connect to an open wifi at a public place for security reasons but what are the dangers if you do? From an ethical hacking point of view, what can they do? If they intercept your data and you're on a secure website that starts with https how can they get/see the data? Is there any way they can remotely access your computer also? Thanks.

I had gotten a speeding ticket a few months ago. I paid the fine for it. Is it possible to get this speeding ticket expunged off my record? Do speeding tickets come off your driving record automatically after a certain amount of time? I live in Virginia btw. Thank you!

Okay so basically I got into a car accident, I was out of work. The insurance company agreed to pay me lost wages, which was great because it was one less thing I had to worry about.

Well I just spoke to the adjuster and

1) They won't pay me gross pay, only net

2) They want to withhold some of the money they're giving me for taxes ?!

I was counting on this money and they're gonna give me less than half the money that I calculated beforehand. Why are they keeping taxes, doesn't that mean I'm gonna get taxed twice at the end of the year? I have to fight with this insurance adjuster for every penny it's ridiculous.

I'm currently in a clinical trial for a new anti-depressant drug. I've been taking it for a couple weeks and the people there make a note to say I can't take any other medication while on it. I haven't, but I want to see my doctor because I'm interested to take a type of hormone medication. I figured they didn't want me to take meds because they are monitoring something, is it something harmful to do? Can I take anti-depressants and hormone medicine at the same time? Thanks.

Why do people say driving a car long distances is bad for it? And they say if a car has too many miles it won't make it the distance, compared to a car with less miles, are these myths? I'm gonna buy a car that has 120,000 miles on it, I want to use to drive far like 700+ miles at a time. If I keep up with regular maintenance, is this bad?

I'm currently in talks with someone, basically to get financial help with my situation. They said I need to go to my doctor to get a note, basically proving that I have what I say I have.

I'm going to my main doctor (although he isn't the one that originally diagnosed me, he can look up my medical record and just write what's on there).

Any tips on this? I don't even know how to ask him, I just booked an appointment without saying the reason. Should I just go in and say I need a note? Do I need to bring the note with me? What is the standard process?

Well basically this is what happen. I had scheduled an appointment with my home insurance company and I waited for the adjuster to come to my home. I was expecting a 40 year old guy named Bob not a 20 something hottie. She checked everything out and we hit it off really well but for some reason I didnt ask her number, but she did leave her card. The thing is I gave her my email and she is supposed to email me a quote and business-related things. I haven't received the email yet.. I was going to wait to get the email then respond to her asking her out. But now I'm wondering if she lost my email? I have her card so I could always call/email her first. What do you think?

I understand there is $12,000 per year available for financial aid I had used $3,000 for a semester about six months ago but wanted to wait for the whole $12,000 to renew before enrolling to a different school. When does that happen?
