Because the Democrats have accessed a way to cause people to be angry about race and Capitalism. The Democrats are threatened by a successful Republican president. So they have to attack attack attack. As long as the Democratic Party can keep their people angry and polarized, they can initiate their voters and fringe into activist schemes. That is what happened with the Kavanaugh confirmation.

The Democrats are threatened by Trump, and so are some Swampy Republicans.
