Should I disable Home SSID if i want to use a dedicated rounter?
I have AT&T as my ISP and received a modem/router combo (BGW210), I recently bought a Nighthawk and want to use that as a dedicated router. I don't know much about these things but people said that I have to disable the BGW210's 2.4ghz and 5ghz wifi band to get the router to work, so i did. There is another option to disable the "Home SSID", i don't see wifi on it so i don't know if i should turn that one off aswell.

Yes, you should disable the AT&T gateway's built-in Wi-Fi. SSID is the name of the Wi-Fi network.
However, getting another router to work with the gateway isn't a simple as plugging it in. You have to kind of put the AT&T gateway into a "bridge" mode. You'll have to find the instructions on how to do this for your specific gateway.
