Its something to pay attention to. You might want to reduce your exposure to the sun and keep a close watch on your skin for the remainder of your life. You will know if there's anything to worry about after they remove the growth. They will determine how deep it is and whether the margins are distinct. These two characteristics indicate the likelihood cancer has spread beyond the mole. If the cancer has not spread, it should be entirely removed by surgery.

melanomas can spread VERY rapidity, so you NEED to know want they look like !

no if they are going to remove it i wouldn't worry
