To Jehovah's Witnesses. What difference would it make if Jesus actually was bodily resurrected?
How would it matter?

Edit:
I've been one of Jehovah's Witnesses for many years.
I find it humorous when NON Witnesses try to tell us what we believe.
*** it-2 p. 1007 Soul ***
in their resurrection such anointed Christians receive a spiritual body like that of the glorified Jesus Christ. (1Co 15:42-49)
*** w82 6/15 p. 17 How Does Christ Return? ***
Thus Christ’s return also would be invisible, in a spiritual body.
We teach what Paul taught.
Paul tells us Jesus and his anointed followers receive a spiritual body, so they can life in the spirit realm.
(1 Corinthians 15:49) “49 And just as we have borne the image of the one made of dust, we will bear also the image of the heavenly one.”
Do we believe Jesus' fleshly' body was taken to heaven? NO.
But that doesn't mean we don't believe Jesus was raised 'bodily'
What kind of body was Jesus raised with? A spiritual heavenly body.
Not made of flesh and blood, but a spiritual body, capable of existing in heaven.
-------------
This question is misleading and isn't accurate.
Jehovah's Witnesses do believe Jesus was 'actually' raised bodily.
Paul tells us what kind of body it is.
(1 Corinthians 15:44, 45) “44 It is sown a physical body; it is raised up a spiritual body. If there is a physical body, there is also a spiritual one. 45 So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living person.” The last Adam [Jesus] became a life-giving spirit.”
To teach that Jesus was raised in a physical body is to deny God's Word.
(1 Corinthians 15:50) “50 But I tell you this, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit God’s Kingdom, nor does corruption [one's physical body] inherit incorruption [one's spiritual body].”
(1 Corinthians 15:40) “40 And there are heavenly bodies and earthly bodies; . . .”
Was Jesus raised in a body? Yes, what kind of body? A heavenly body.
What difference does it make? If you teach Jesus' fleshly body is in heaven.
Jesus tells us:
'By your traditions you have made God's word invalid'.

Since Jesus never sinned, why would Jehovah allow him to go back to dust forever? Jesus proved faithful to the death on that torture stake proving the Devil the liar that he is. Jesus showed the Devil that no matter what a man has to tolerate, he can stay faithful to Jehovah. Job, although imperfect, kept his integrity to Jehovah even though the Devil killed his children, killed his livestock and gave him boils from head to toe. Would you be able to keep your integrity if all these things happened to you? Or would you be like Job's wife who told Job: "Curse God and die? (Job 2:9) Yes, Satan blatantly told Jehovah at Job 2:5: "But, for a change, stretch out your hand and strike his bone and flesh, and he will curse you to your very face." Could you keep your integrity if you were struck with boils, as was Job? Because Jesus kept his integrity to his Father, he is now King of God's heavenly kingdom and has subjects in 240 countries from North Pole to Antarctica. Jehovah's Witnesses are praying now to keep their integrity when their time comes for the persecution that is coming from this wicked world of Satan. We hope to come through "the great tribulation" with honor to our God Jehovah as did Jesus. (Revelation 7:9+14) I now invite you to learn more about what the Bible teaches from the international website, jw.org. See Bible Teachings > Bible Questions Answered. If you believe what you learned, you can request your free personal Bible study online, or from the next witness who knocks on your door, or by visiting your neighborhood Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. There is never a collection taken and all are welcome. Thank you for this question.

Well, if Jehovah's Witnesses admitted that Jesus was bodily resurrected, they would have to admit that they were wrong. And if they are wrong about the resurrection, how many other doctrines are they wrong about? That's very disturbing for your average JW.

Yes, absolutely H U G E difference!!!
You see, JWorg has taught and still teaches that Jesus didn't rise into a physical body and Watchtower has written many articles on the subject. For any JW to accept that Jesus could have actually risen physically it means that JWorg and Watchtower could be very wrong on one doctrine and if they're wrong on one doctrine they could be wrong on lots.... it's the floodgate principle.
As a consequence, JWs cannot accept that anything JWorg teaches could be wrong, until JWorg changes it's teaching and says it's not a change but more about the light getting brighter.
Thus JWs are confined to what JWorg teaches.
..and the ultimately irony is that they will deny all of this truth!

1. They use 1 Pet. 3:18 where it says that Christ was "put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit" as an attempt to show that Jesus was not raised physically but as a kind of spirit creature.
Their use of the scripture to support their position is incorrect because this verse does not say that He was raised a spirit creature. It says that He was "made alive in the spirit." What does that mean? Quite simply, it means that Jesus was raised in an imperishable body. This is what 1 Cor. 15:35-45 says when it refers to the body as being sown perishable, but raised imperishable; sown in dishonor and raised in glory; sown a natural body and raised a spiritual body, etc. Jesus was the "Last Adam" - a life-giving spirit. Paul is typifying the resurrection body. In this passage Paul is talking about the resurrection of all people. All Christians will be raised in physical bodies. It is said the same of Jesus.

They deny Jesus Christ, that He is God.
