My hymen won’t break?

I tried losing my virginity today but my boyfriend could not get penis in and when we tried it was really painful . we both are in love and ready for sex but I don’t understand why my hymen won’t break... any advice on how to break it without pain

    LUBE LOTS AND LOTS OF LUBE. Iam no virgin but sometimes my man cant get as well if its too dry you know.. just it up, ur stuff and his stuff aswell. try fingering first as part of foreplay
