If God hates sin why did he create beings who he knew would sin?
Lets see how you Christians answer that.

God created us with a propensity to sin, and then gave us free will, so WE could decide to follow God, or follow evil. Adam and Eve chose to not believe God and believe a snake up a tree. As their descendents, we all bear their sin. Jesus is the escape for its consequences.

No loving god would create humans, sabotage them, and then spend eternity punishing them. Of course, there is no god.

That's an easy question, when you think it through. There are only 4 possibilities compared to what we have now: 1. Nothing at all. 2. Total chaos (no order) 3. Forced good, with no other choice. 4. Free moral agency (freedom to choose) #4 is the only possibility which allows for John 3:16. There you have it.

In Christian theology, it is called "free will." It is the concept that God designed man to have the intelligence to understand and make moral decisions. Had he not made man that way, man would be incapable of deciding to love God, to help others, to do anything morally good or have any kind of ethics or good character. While sin would not exist, neither would anything good, moral or righteous. Man would be limited to only following instincts or only doing things that he was pre-programmed to do like a robot.
Since God is love, he is incapable of existing without the ability to have loving relationships with others. (That is one reason He exist as a triune being, because he can not be love without someone to love.) So God had to create man in such a way that he was able to make the moral decisions needed to love. That also meant that he would be able capable of making the wrong decisions.
The reason that God hates sin is because he is love. "Sin" is a force that harms people, so of course God opposes it. That is why he has rules against doing such things. But it is only by having such rules that humans can make the moral decisions to love God, be good, build character, help others, etc.
Take away their ability to sin, and you also take away their ability to not sin - to be good. Remove evil, and good no longer exist either.
Simple theology that the Christian faith has understood for centuries.

This gets asked frequently. Let me answer this way. If you have children you can identify with this better.
GOD is a parent with insanely violent and destructive children. He had a choice. He could destroy them or die for them.

God loves us. He created sin so He can send us to the lake of fire to prove his Iove.
.
Only a loving god would punish His children via eternal torment.
.
Jesus loves you and wants to bless your life freely :) Most of all, Jesus wants you with Him forever, and not in hell. The truth is that every belief except one will lead to eternal torment in the lake of fire for every person. Because nothing pays for our sins except the death and blood of Jesus, the sacrifice of Jesus that is already accomplished by Him . Jesus loves you! The truth is that Jesus is God, and Jesus died on the cross to pay for all of our sins in full, and then Jesus resurrected from the dead. Nothing else pays for our sins, not works, not deeds, not religions. So the only way to heaven and to avoid hell, is by believing in Jesus for eternal life (John 6:47), without adding any of your own works (Romans 4:5). Believe in Jesus to take you to heaven, and you will be in heaven, no matter what, guaranteed. That easy, thanks to Jesus! Tell Jesus that you thank Him that you will be with Him in heaven when you die, because you believe in Jesus! It is too late to be saved, after death

The Christians have a stock answer for that... "Free Will"....
“Free Will” is a concept that the Catholic Church invented to explain the paradox that evil exists in a world that was created by a perfect God.
“Free will” is built into Christian theology to take the blame away from their God and make the Human responsible for sin in the world.
And there is big money in sin. They even gave us a Sin to atone for at birth.
“We must question the story logic of having an all-knowing all-powerful God, who creates faulty Humans, and then blames them for his own mistakes.”
---- Gene Roddenberry
