If darian scheme was successful how large and powerful would the Scottish empire of become and would the language of that empire be gealic?

    Virtually all of the capital invested in the Darien scheme - almost a fifth of the country's wealth - came from lowland Scots so if it had somehow managed to thrive the language spoken would have been Scots.

    No, they would speak 'Leland Scots' the language of Lowland Scotland similar to English.
