I don't need Religion for anything you state here, why should I need Religion when I am able to admit the the course of my life is determined by me and me alone, I feel safe in my life and I do not fear that at the end of it I will be tortured for eternity.

Well, if I had an emergency and I had to choose between calling 911 (and talk to a REAL person) or praying to god (a fictitious being), what would think I'd do? Just ask all the millions of starving and persecuted people in the world how god keeps them safe every day.

The belief in God is important to some people, but not all people. Some feel that relying on family or on government or on friends makes them feel safe and comfortable.

That is why we have freedom of religion in this country.

Nonsense. When you dial 911 (or whatever the emergency number is in your country) there is a human on the line to talk to you. When you pick up a bible there is no telephone line, no communication with someone else. You might think there are gods out there but there is no evidence for any of them. Your analogy falls apart.

Go ask a black person if the law makes them feel protected and safe.
