It means the system is leaking. Do not put sealant in the system as it will cause more damage. Take the vehicle to a car shop to find the leak. They will put dye in the system with a charge, they will either have you or themselves drive the vehicle for a while depending on the size of the leak, and then when the dye leaks they will be able to see where it is with a special light. They will let you know what it is. Please don’t try to repair the system yourself. A lot of people mess it up because they don’t know they need to vacuum and recycle the Freon, rid the system of moister, and proper filling procedure. A lot of people over fill the system to. Help this helps

It is leaking. Consider the system is not suppose to leak ANY. Something needs replacing. Get the shop to do the work. Refilling a leaking system, means it will always just leak out again.

That means the system leaks. You need the leak found, repaired and the ac evacuated and recharged. Summer is coming.

It means you have to fix the leak BEFORE adding refrigerant.
We CAN'T know where the leak is without seeing the system.
