If a guy is talking crazy and start bumping into you...scenario.?

If this happens and then you lay him out (not pummeling him but hit him with a one hitter quitter)...are you still getting charged for assault? Supposedly, you can do so...if you can prove it was for self defense but I hear it isnt as easy as that.

Claiming self defense is NO guarantee that law enforcement or a court will agree that your actions met the criteria for self defense.

    You probably are, yeah.

You are very optimistic about your one hitter quitter. It could go the other way and it's the other guy with the charges. It could go another way and your one hitter quitter causes mr. crazy to land on his head and you end up with manslaughter charges. Therefore it's best to just walk away, because if mr. crazy doesn't let you walk away-then the law really is on your side.
