Why don't the French Christians use all the money donated to fix Notre Dame Cathedral to feed starving childen and let god fix the building?

God doesn't want the building, he didn't ask for it in the first place.

Notre Dame is owned by the French government, not Christians. Moreover it is managed by Roman Catholics, not Christians. So your assumption is false.

The cathedral was a tuorist spot attracting 30000 visitors per day. It has nothing to do with Christianity anymore.
