They don't. If they did, then they'd let Trump build the wall, which would destroy America, or at least its ability to produce food.

It's because of what Nietzche called ressentiment. The weak envy the strong which turns into hate.

Political power. It basically involves getting rid of the American middle class because they consume too much for who they are. Socialize them and make them poorer. And thus provide more for the elites.
