I just watched a show on how?
Adam and Eve and their children came about. People ask were did there wives come from? Where did all the other people come from. It clearly states in the Bible that God created man and then he created Adam. Why is everyone having such a hard time with this?
Atheist or not knowledge is knowledge. Your right the bible continual restarts and resets itself which only goes to show that humans can take a good idea and screw it up. I am a theist by they way but I still appreciate your view point.

Genesis 2 has a couple places early on where it feels like the narrative kind of reset and it is unclear if it's talking about additional creation events or going into more specifics of the first. The interpretation of there being a singular creation event of humanity has been the more common one for most of history, and the idea of God created man and then Adam is less common.
4 This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created, when the Lord God made the earth and the heavens.
5 Now no shrub had yet appeared on the earth[a] and no plant had yet sprung up, for the Lord God had not sent rain on the earth and there was no one to work the ground,

One would need an in-depth Bible study to fully understand all that is being stated in Gen Ch 1 and 2.
In Gen Chapter 1 verse 27 God creates male and female at the same time. This was done on the sixth day.
These people are all the races except for the Hebrew people.
On the eighth day God creates as stated in verse 5 of Gen Chapter 2 "a man to till the ground."
This man was not created in Chapter 1 because it is stated
specifically "there was not a man to till the ground." This man is Adam.
So God created all the men and woman of different races on the sixth day. Adam was created on the eighth.

Gen 1: 27 (GNB) So God created human beings, making them to be like himself. He created them male and female.
Yes God made man, Adam was still the first, then Adam sinned, causing all mankind to sin.

Do you believe everything you see on TV? Most people by the time they're literate become more discriminating and give up their imaginary friends and fairy tales.

People have always had a hard time with the Genesis creation narrative.
Genesis is an ancient Hebrew 'cosmology' dealing with their relationship to their God, inspired by that God, to tell them who he was and who they were in relationship to him. It was inspired using their capacity for understanding, and their knowledge at the time.
It is not, and never was, a scientific, literal account of anything.

So does that mean everyone else was obeying the rules except for Eve and Adam, so God punished all of humanity for eternity anyway?
That sounds like the God of the Old Testament, I’ll give you that. Total jerk..
