    At P:

    The potentials from the +q and -q cancel because of symmetry.

    The potentials from the +4q and -4q cancel because of symmetry.

    The potentials from the +5q and -5q cancel because symmetry.

    So we are left with the potentials from the two -2q charges, each a distance d from P

    V = 2 x (-2q)/(4πε₀d) = -4kq/(4πε₀d)
