triangle measurement?

geometry question (for me, not a class):

points A and B are 10 feet apart, a straight line.

point C starts midway between A and B, and is a straight line also 10ft long.

roughly

A B

C

in this case, what is the length of sides AC and BC, and how did you compute that? thanks in advance!

Using Pythagoras' theorem the sides are 5 times the square root of 5 or about 11.18 feet
