For Shaving how often should I change out the head?

I'm a 29 year old male(turning 30 May 31) I always shave with a Razor Tuesday nights while I shave with a electric Razor on Saturday mornings. I'm not sure how often I should change out the head on a normal Razor. I've been doing it every 5-6 months.

You've been shaving for 15 years and have no idea about this? The life of a blade varies with the density of the beard and the frequency of shaving. I think you've said you shave with a blade once a week and with an electrical appliance once a week. The appliance is not that same as a razor. So you're shaving once a week. Depending on your beard density, 2 months no more than 3 (12 shaves) is about the end of it. I loved shaving the first time is did it and I still do when I'm not in a hurry. But shaving with a dull blade is never fun. More important than my estimate is WHAT DOES IT FEEL LIKE?
