I read somewhere that since Jesus was a carpenter He probably make crosses too. I thought carpenters only made furniture?

    It is assumed he was a Carpenter because the Sons followed the Fathers trade

    but it never states he was a carpenter. Just a carpenters son

  • Jesus would have made things like furniture of the time, yokes like for oxen, practical items used by the common people of his time. He would not have made crosses which is a pagan item.

    No. Carpenters in Israel make not crosses.

    As a carpenter he probably made anything out of wood, maybe even little sculpurs
