If you say it was nice to meet you and they just say okay?
Well, I have been trying to meet guys. I was really nervous to go up to a guy. He was wearing headphones, listening to music. "Excuse me," I said.
He didn't hear me, so I said excuse me again.
"I have seen you before, do you work here?" I asked.
He said, "Yeah."
I asked, "What do you do?"
He said he worked in the business office.
I asked him if he rode the train, and he said yeah.
There was a long silence, so I said, "Nice to meet you."
He said okay.
He really isn't interested in talking, is he?
NO MEAN ANSWERS PLEASE!!!

It appears that he wasn't interested in talking to you. It also seems that the guy has very poor manners. That is his problem, not yours. I think many guys would be flattered to have a woman approach them and strike up a conversation. I'm sure that at least some of them would be interested in giving you their full attention. Obviously, he wasn't one of them. It seems to me that you might be thinking you did something wrong here. I really don't think that you did. The guy was just rude.

Well first introduce your self, then if he introduces himself with you asking who he is then he isn’t interested, btw in this situation to be honest he didn’t look interested at all
