Who voted to allow Obama to send billions of dollars to Iran? How did he get ahold of that money? Where did those funds come from?

Obama was always allowed to do what ever he wanted without ever being questioned. Considering those planes were loaded with cash, how many hands do you think were in the cookie jar? All Obama had to do was snap his fingers & in came the cash. When Trump sneezes they want to impeach him. What a joke our system is.

The millions of people who voted for him in two elections. They voted to give Obama the power to run international relations for the US.

The money is not, despite right wing lies to the contrary, America's money and Obama didn't really "give it" to Iran. The money was Iran's money. They had made it by selling oil on the international market. But because of international sanctions on Iran for their nuclear program they were unable to bring that money home. It would be like you having thousands of dollars in a bank account but not being able to use it. As part of the deal which saw Iran give up its nuclear program, the US and other international powers agreed to unfreeze those funds and allow Iran to repatriate that money.

IT WAS THEIR MONEY.

It was Iran's money which the US used for over 35 years. Why has Trump, Mnuchin, and McConnell lifted the sanctions on Putin's closest friends --the Russian Oligarchy? We know that McConnell received 200 million but how much did Trump and Mnuchin receive --we may never know.

Obama is well known for his peacekeeping efforts. Obama worked to create a peaceful green planet. We have been at odds with one of our closest neighbors Cuba-- for over 60 years-- and Obama tried to end the hostility after the old dictator Castro died. When that was going on Trump was the first one to visit Cuba with the plan" to build a big beautiful Trump Tower " in Cuba.

Right wing media always omits that part of the story! In 1979 there was a revolution in Iran against the Shah(King) who was backed by America. The Shah was in America for cancer treatment at the time. The student leaders of the revolution overran our embassy and took the personnel hostage. President Carter ordered all Iranian assets frozen!

Here's another aspect right wing media omitted; Iran was suing America for those assets in World Court. If America had lost that suit it would have also had to pay compound interest on it for over 35 years!

No one authorized that . That's why it was done in the middle of the night , in secret , on a chartered plane .

No one voted..he circumvented Congress via Executive Order..even recognizing that Iran would spend the money funding terrorism. Also, the "nuclear deal" doesn't really prevent Iran from manufacturing a nuclear weapon..just delaying it a bit.

Personally, I think the US should have claimed the Iranian funds to offset the cost of the War on Terror..at least in terms of dollars.
