Depends how you do it. What one guy does and comes off as cute and flattering flirting, makes another less attractive guy a creep, and likely liable for sexual harassment and possibly a sexoffender.

As long as you're prepared to handle rejection in a mature way you should pursue any single woman you wish. There are plenty of gorgeous, successful and accomplished women out there who don't necessarily want the kind of relationship insecurity that often comes with being with a Brad Pitt type. Most sincere women just want a sincere man they don't have to monitor or worry about.
