Must have been a little glitch or hiccup. If it happens again, pay attention to whatever conditions are happening at that time - could you be blocked by the asker or might you have reached your answer limit. Refresh your screen a time or two and it will sometimes make a difference.

It happens to me a lot, especially when I get a notice at the side of my screen The Yahoo Screen Team is 'answering questions'.
They've never answered any questions, they just lurk and cause mischief to people they don't like, like me.
