Can anyone name a country that has diminished quality of life for their people as a result of the implementation of Capitalism?

How about the implementation of Socialism? North Korea, Cuba, Vietnam, Venezuela, USSR, etc.

Why do people on here keep trying to focus on socialism when no one is talking about that? We are discussing democratic socialism, which is working well all over the world, and those people have a better lifestyle than we do. They may have free school from preschool through college or a chef cooking meals for school kids or a school system with no homework. Italian workers get 8 weeks of paid vacation per year BY LAW and American workers get ZERO. Why shouldn't we have better lives?

Japan/Nippon....have you taken a closer look at how people go about there daily business in the urban industrial areas?....i'll give you a clue, it questions whether air/oxygen should be taken for granted....and that's not the only issue in developed nations which is brewing under the surface, issues which cannot be continuously brushed under the carpet...

How about, those are NOT facts because niether Venezuela or North .Korea are socialist, they are dictatorships..

Yes, many Democrat run cities in AMERICA have chased away CAPITALISTS. And doomed the slaves to poverty misery and crime. Capitalism does not solve the problem of bad voters stealing from the producers.

Source(s): Detroit and Pittsburg were prime examples of voters chasing away prosperity. Both are 'on the mend' but BOTH can easily be destroyed again by bad voters. A Republic, limiting the power of THE VOTERS to steal from the producers is proven to be the only solution. As bad voting cities or states in America have FAILED.

Every colony anywhere has had diminished quality of life thanks to capitalism.

Socialism cannot be imposed from above, and any attempt to do so will lead to diminished quality of life as compared to decentralised implementation
