Why do people say that Trump doesn’t really know what he’s talking about & that he just makes stuff up?

Well, for one thing, he keeps making claims that have to be corrected later. For example, he claimed that he could do away with birthright citizenship, as though a president can simply alter the Constitution with the flick of a pen. He cannot.
That's only one example, but there have been many. He also lies, seemingly compulsively, he's extremely inconsistent, and has a tendency to speak before he thinks -- not that his thinking is much to write home about. Then, whatever he's said to outrage people, or that reveals his sheer lack of knowledge of a given subject, has to be walked back. This happens over and over.
He's clearly not well-informed, he says whatever comes into his head at any given moment, he's spent a lifetime lying so that it's clearly become a habit, and I strongly suspect that he frequently parrots whatever the last person in the room told him, and then he changes it according to whatever someone else tells him the next day.
It would all be fascinating to observe if didn't carry such serious implications for the welfare of the nation.

All the left has is reactionary and irresponsible debate. Facts that are not supportive of their political agenda are bane for them. For them, the end justifies the means.

Because he doesn’t know what he’s talking about. He wings it like he’s winged his entire presidency.

Trump's mind works a lot faster than his mouth, and people can't understand what he's saying.
The people saying that really have no clue. The average person doesn't understand economics, so they listen to a talking head who also doesn't understand it, and think they know more than Trump does.
The proof's in the pudding: his economic policies are working, North Korea isn't testing long range weapons anymore, China's at the bargaining table, etc.
It's bias, pure and simple.

Because THEY don't know what they're talking or it's just more of the endless ridiculous Trump bashing.

Seems rather self-explanatory.

Because it’s true. The Washington Post has documented 10,000 plus instances of false or misleading statements he’s made since his inauguration- that’s an average of 12 per day!
