My cat keeps making complaining meowing noises when I touch her back legs?

She's a very social cat in general, but this meow is more whiny, I'm worried she's hurt but I don't see any limping and haven't found any thorns or anything. She seems pretty happy as long as I don't touch her rear paws. Should I fork over the money for a vet visit or wait it out?

If her whining when you touch her back paws is a new thing, its best to get her to the vet.

Its better to pay to have them tell you she is ok than to have her hurting and need care and not get it.

If there is nothing obvious and she is not limping, it may be that she doesn't like her paws being touched. If it is a new thing and she has always allowed you to touch her paws, it might be worth a checkup.
