Unlike Millennials who had a rebellious attitude towards school and studying, Gen Z are actually putting a lot of effort into it to the point of exhaustion, is there any particular reason for that?

The gen Z is more focussed and determined than previous generations is mainly because of the competition that exists. Everyone wants to be nothing but the best so they work hard as much as they can

They've seen that the alternative to getting an advanced STEM degree is living with their parents and working at Starbucks into their 30's. So they're evolving to take education more seriously.
