If I do one full academic year at a community college can I transfer to university of Miami in Florida?

I have a learning disability and I was never in a high school academic program and I don’t have high school transcripts and I only have an IEP Diploma. If I get a GED or high school equivalency diploma and do a full academic year at a local community college can I then transfer to University of Miami in Florida as a sophomore?

You can apply to the university of Miami with a GED. You would need to go on the school’s web site and read requirements for transfer students. Many universities do allow you to transfer in with 30 credits.

Keep in mind that the U. of Miami is a private university and therefore MUCH more expensive that attending a state university such as Florida State.
