First time getting tattoo. advice plz?

I looked online and decided on a high rated shop in my area. Im not sure how well ill be able to handle the needle, so im going for a smaller, black-only design.

Not sure where to get it though and im going back-and-forth between 2 designs....

Common issue here. The most common feeling of getting a tattoo is - scratching fresh sunburn/hot scratch. Follow aftercare. Eat something healthy for breakfast - take in peanuts/bananas/water - ideal to stop you feeling faint. Don't eat anything sugary, drink alcohol or take painkillers.

I suggest inner forearm/calf or outer shoulder. These areas are fatty so there's less pain and heal great. Avoid sternum, thigh, outer forearm, all very sensitive areas and tend to be a bi*ch.

If you are not 100% sure about the placement or 100% sure about the design, do not get the tattoo. Don't even contact the shop you don't know what you want so you wouldn't even be able to talk with them about what artist would be best to do your tattoo.

When you decide what you want, then you can talk with the shop about getting it done.

What advice do you want? Nothing we can say will make it feel good if that’s what you’re looking for. You didn’t give us the designs to help you decide either. You just sit there and get the tattoo, that’s it.
