    a) Fascism is a right wing political ideology with capitalism as its economic base. It is apposed to socialism and communism, arresting and killing many along with any other opponents. Fascism appose most freedoms.

    b) Fascist governments are usually one-party governments arresting and killing opposition candidates. Singapore and Malaysia are one-party governments but one can not say they are fascist countries.

    c) Fascist governments are frequently militarily expansionist, as was Fascist Italia under Mussolini or Nazi Germany under Hitler. Franco's Spain was an exception.

    d) The Nazis took fascism to an extreme and included ethnicity and religious beliefs into their ideology being anti-Jew, anti-Gypsy, anti-Slav etc.

"Government is your friend, we will take care of your every need".

All socialism is government handing out to those who dont wish to work. Thats their basic promise.

    Can you spell "redistribueshun"?

When somebody quotes Ayn Rand - RUN as fast as you can. Especially if they want to pretend it's history.

Fascism is nationalism taken to its most extreme mixed with scapegoating populations considered undesirable with undercurrents of nostalgia for the "greatness of the past" added in to deceive the gullible.

It's a big deal right now because a President of the United States is talking about how great nationalism is, blaming all of our problems on migrants/liberals, and talking about making America great again. This sound an awful lot like fascism to a great many people.

Fascism is bad - because SOCIALISM is bad. Political control of the economy is WORSE than the customer/supplier relationship.

Source(s): Every socialist somehow 'thinks' that FORCE - of 'their brand' of government supervision is superior to the customer supplier relationship. In fact, the supervisor classless is NEVER CORRECT. Sometimes the theft from the owners makes it appear that the thieves are temporarily successful, but such is not the case...Witness FDR and Democrat 'socialist' security. Taxes have now been raised over 6 X the 'wage tax' original ~ for lower 'benefits' for the poorest victims. Capitalists are not shocked.

    -Benito Mussolini

If you truly want to understand Fascism, then study Benito Mussolini, the father of fascism. Don’t talk to yahoo.answers trolls. Doing the latter just suggests you are looking for confirmation bias.

Fascism has to do with controlling society, stripping people of their rights and freedoms, and using force against the population to control them.

It is one form of dictatorship.

Trump like dictatorships, and is already talking about becoming President-for-Life (no more free elections, people. No more voice at all)

Liberal\leftist 'big' ideas have always failed repeatedly throughout human history. Always. Always though unfortunately with a very very large death count. Those who fail to remember history are always doomed to repeat it. Libs\leftists are intentionally not taught history and in fact intentionally ignore it.
