1. A significant difference between Prehistoric (Paleolithic and Neolithic) cultures and ancient Egyptian culture is the existence of writing in ancient Egyptian culture. Even without the hieroglyphic writing in ancient Egypt, do you think that just the Egyptian artworks would have been enough for us to understand Egyptian culture? Why or why not? Think of an object or monument from our culture today with no writing on it that if discovered 4000 years from today, it would provide information about our 21st-century society.

2. As you saw in the videos, burial, mummification, and beliefs in the afterlife were very important in ancient Egyptian culture. Find a unique burial site or memorial from any culture or period, describe it to us, and tell us about its symbolism and meaning. Include an image or a link to an image/website featuring this burial or memorial.
