do girls usually avoid guys after the first approach?
I've been seeing this girl at my gym for about 4,5 month. She looked interested and caugh her looking from time to time then I decided to approach her. I waited for her to finish her workout and I kinda introduced my self and asked her about her workout. After that I saw her staring from far couple of times and she avoided me. I even saw her looking from far couple of times and she seems to be fine working out around me but everytime we come across she tries not to look at me. She might be a little shy but not sure.

When I was younger and I took an interest in the person who approached me, I'd most likely do the same thing and see if he'd try again. Now, I know that this really got me nowhere and that my hints were incredibly confusing, so I'm more outgoing. If your conversation the first time went pretty good and she seemed interested, then maybe try talking to her again and asking her out some time. She might just be shy or trying to gear you towards talking to her again.
