what does the typical Yorkshire Lass look like? (Hair, eyes, skin)?

I know there is no "one" right answer but in general. I know there is a lot of Dane/viking influence in the area (of course the Harrying of the north with William the conquerer might have negated this some) so I am thinking lighter hair than the average Brit. I am an american so I am just trying to do some research for a story. My character is from the Welton area (East Riding) where her family has lived for over 500 years.

She doesn't have to be anything more than fairish with brown hair and medium build. That's typical enough of ANY 'lass' in Yorkshire. There is no reason why she would have 'lighter' hair than the average. Plenty of Yorkshire people have dark hair: nobody would accuse you of a failure in your research if she were brunette.

In totally honesty much the same as any other Brit or European in general, here in Scotland there are lots of Polish people now, and after years its still pretty much a guess who is Polish and who is local until they speak. A Polish guy approched me in Norway thinking i was Polish but i'm of Irish ancestry on both side of my family, i have been taken for local in Poland, German, Ukraine etc...I have Filipino family who are mistaken for Thai, Malaysian, Nepalese, Indian, part Black, Chinese, Japanese etc.. Some groups share characteristics.
